Meeting Every Month

A Community That Meets in Person

Founder talks, tech meetups, weekend sports, and retreats. We meet every month in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, and on weekend mornings at the pool or on the cricket turf.

Why We Meet in Person

A strong community is built by its people, but you can’t create a community on WhatsApp and call it a day. A WhatsApp community can spark a connection, but it can’t sustain one.

So we doubled down on offline meetups and sports. There are fewer messages now, less noise, and more trust, growing every month.

Everything We Do Together

Talks that teach, small rooms for honest conversation, and sport for a sharp mind and a healthy body.

Founder Series

Founders from our community share their real journeys, the wins and the setbacks, followed by an open Q&A. Every session is invite-only, with a select few members joining the speakers.

Tech Meetups

Sessions led by members on what they are building, from AI-native apps to the challenges AI brings to our work.

Casual Meetups

Relaxed meetups at a café, open to founders, designers, engineers, and marketers alike, where we talk about AI, jobs, life, and faith.

Weekend Sports

Swimming and cricket on weekend mornings, plus post-Fajr cycling and other sports. We start early and finish before the day gets busy.

Retreats

Time away together, such as a three-day, Fitrah-aligned retreat in Vythiri, Wayanad, hosted by Amir Equbal, founder of Erdh.

Some of us swim together in Noida on weekend mornings, and cricket runs alongside it.

Before Your First Meetup

Who can come, what it costs, and how to take part.

Who can attend?

Meetups are for Barakah HQ members. Some sessions welcome a friend from the same field, and the announcement will say so. The Founder Series is invite-only, so a select few members join the speakers at each session.

How will I hear about meetups?

Every meetup is announced in the community’s WhatsApp groups with the date, venue, and who is leading it. Weekend sports are announced in the Fitness / Sports group, usually the day before.

Does it cost anything?

Meetups are free to attend. Coffee and light food are on us, paid for with contributions from members. For sports, everyone pays for their own slot, usually ₹100 per hour for the pool or the turf. Retreats are contribution-based.

What about prayer times?

We plan every meetup around prayer times. Longer meetups include a break for salah, and we share the nearest mosque along with the venue.

I cannot swim. Can I still come?

Yes. If you are new to swimming or afraid of water, bring swimming goggles and a nose clip. With them on, the fear of water fades quickly. Both are available on Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.

Can I help organise?

Yes, please. Reply to any meetup announcement in the community to help with a venue, a speaker, or a session, or to suggest one.

Ready to Join?

Membership is by application only. A few short questions help us make sure every member is genuine, serious about their work, and a good fit. If you value meaningful connections, we’d love to hear from you.
